About Payam Yousefi

Who am I? That's an awfully difficult question to answer, seeing as I have never met myself. I can always assume I'm a perfect person, but that's a rather big-headed thing to do, especially because I know for sure I'm not perfect. So let's see, who am I, really?

Well, for one, I can say I'm creative. I wasn't always creative, and I'm sure I wasn't as creative as I was in the past. When I was a young naïve boy, I was rather artistic actually. I had a brilliant imagination, where cows and turkey skeletons would dance together on Thanksgiving eve. Unfortunately, as I grew older, I began to lose this talent. It must've been a miracle when I began to regain it, through the use of the internet.

The internet is a peaceful and holy sanctuary nested up above, ontop of fluffy white clouds and — oh wait, nope, that's heaven... same thing. As you've hopefully noticed, the internet is always changing, as are we, and I find that connection, change, to be key to being able to adapt to new things, to be able to creatively design something to fit the current status quo. And that's what really matters.

So, yes, I was able to adapt. I learned there was more fonts in the world than just 'Times New Roman' (and thank goodness for that). And as always, I wanted to learn more. I began to expand my experience, beyond just website making. I found myself with a camera in hand, posing in awkward positions (no, nothing nasty, sicko), and trying to take something that counted as some form of photography. I found myself drawing once again, but this time, no pen and paper, but rather, mouse and pixels. The internet was actually useful for once! With it, I became creative once more.

In the end, the question was, "Who am I?" I'm Payam Yousefi, a creative seventeen year old guy living in California, trying to learn everything possible. And I mean, everything.

So what exactly can I do?

Well, I've become pretty well-experienced in: Web Design & Development, Programming (PHP, Java, Javascript, Actionscript, AJAX), Photography, Photomanipulation, Logotyping, Flash Animation and Game Creation, Vector Art, and other kinds of Graphic Art. Obviously, there's a ton of other fields out there, and I'm trying to learn new ones all the time!

What kind of programs/resources do I use?

All of which is run on a MacBook with..
